Sculpture and painting exhibition at Pueblo Heritage Museum

201 W. B St. | 5 p.m. | Pueblo Artist Ryan Yanke − who works with wet and dry mediums, found or repurposed objects, and delves into the art of psychology − will showcase 15 paintings with blacklight and glow-in-the-dark elements capturing the biopsychosocial community and 21 sculptures representing the diverse inhabitants of a healing city.

"Pot Heads" by Deb McCormack will be among local art on display during the First Friday Art Walk at Steel City Artworks.

‘The Treasure of Art’ at Steel City Art Works

216 S. Union Ave. | 5-8 p.m. | The gallery will host an opening reception with complimentary refreshments as part of the First Friday Art Walk. Art includes the annual Chavez Huerta K-12 Preparatory Academy show, a demonstration by Debra McCormack, a figurative polymer clay artist, Barbara Jabaily’s images on metal and the “Three Views” exhibit featuring works by three artists who all looked at the same thing and interpreted it in different ways.
